Um…How cute is this dress? This J.Crew bow monde frock was specifically designed with bridesmaids in mind but I think it can totally work for a less traditional bride and/or as a reception dress. Made of silk taffeta, it is available in an array of colors from champagne (shown above) to organic green to bright poppy and comes in sizes 0-20. It retails for $250 which might be pricey for most of us but becomes affordable once you break down cost per wear. This is a dress most wearers will pull out of their closets often because it can be worn to a cocktail party or any semi-formal function, appears to travel well, is seasonless and boasts a timeless — not trendy — design. And if you or your bridal party aren’t located in a major city like NYC or LA, J. Crew is still very accessible. Score!
